Classroom Session:
Learn about the basics of photo editing & retouching principles, along with highly useful editing tips & tricks. 

• Introduction to Adobe Photoshop: The history of photoshop and how it became the industry leader for photo editing software.
• Navigating Adobe Photoshop: Get familiarized with Photoshop’s workspace, interface and all the tools.
• Introduction to the various tools & effects in Adobe Photoshop and their respective functions.
• Adjusting exposure using different tools to achieve different outcomes: The Brightness tool, The Exposure tool, Levels & Curves. Why exposure must be the first parameter to be adjusted before anything else.
• Learn about screen color calibration & how to best get accurate colors before you start enhancing images in Photoshop
• Colors: Adjusting Saturation, Vibrance, Hue & Tint.
• Learn the various Selection tools: Lasso Tool, Polygonal Lasso Tool, Magic Wand & others.
• Layers: How layers work and how to use the blending methods.
• Healing & Cloning: Learn how to clean up faces with the Heal Tool and remove undesired portions of the image using the Clone Tool.
• Sharpening: Global sharpening vs local sharpening.
• The Blur Tool: The different types of blur (Gaussian, Lens Blur, Motion Blur).
• Liquification: How to use the Liquify tool to beautify a person’s facial features or body shape.
• Text: Adding text layers to your image.
• Exporting your photos for various platforms: File formats and size.
  
  Practical Sessions:
  The practical session will ensure that participants get the following hands on:
• Navigate the interface of Adobe Photoshop
• Understand the various tools available within Adobe Photoshop
• Adjust photo exposure using a few different methods
• Learn screen color calibration
• Learn how to manipulate colors & color correcting photos & images
• Manage layers and blend modes
• Heal or Clone away imperfections in your photo
• Sharpen your image using different sharpening methods
• Liquify your subjects to make them look slimmer
• Export the final photo to a suitable format
  
  
   

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this course.
• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session.
• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models/actors will be hired by us to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course.
